Hello,

I am little confused over the sponsership documents.

I would like to sponser my parents - me and my wife both work and have greencards.

On the I-134 - I have to put my name and green card etc. But on the salary and bank account balance, should I just put mine or my wife's too. Our tax return and back accounts are joint (i.e. common - have both the names) - yet we do get seperate paychecks and W-2s.

Also, on the letter to consulate and invite to parents - should that be from both or just me - as I am the one sponsering my parents; not that my wife has any issue with it. I just want to give only the required information and not cause any confusion.

If I put my wife's name - do I send copies for her passport, Greencard, paystubs too?

If you want to combine the incomes of both on I-134, you would send the supporting documents of both.

Invitation letter can be from you or both.

and If I do not combine and just put my salary - I can still send the joint tax returns as well as the common bank statements.
