Need help with interview scheduling..

Hi

Me and my family are planning to apply for visitor visa for tourism purposes.
However, vfs website is not showing mumbai dates even after checking multiple times..but delhi has dates available.
Vfs website shows a notice whereby they advise ppl to apply through their own consular district.
Is it advisable to schedule interview at a delhi consulate instead of mumbai in such cases or will it be disadvantage??

Indian applicants are advised to schedule their visa interviews within the specified consular centres, though technically they can appear in any consultate.

They have a better chance from the Mumbai consulate.
