  • Applying for B2 second time

    Hi,

Request immihelp to provide info on this as soon as possible -

My mother's visa was rejected in June last under 214b.
I am applying once again this July and am preparing a letter to the Consulate trying to explain the genuineness of her intention to only visit and not to immigrate.
Can you please tell me whether it makes sense to refer to the first rejection in this letter? Or should I try not to remind them of the rejection this time around?

    rgds,

Query regarding showing joint income for sponsoring visitor visa

    Hi,

My husband is sponsoring his parents for visitors visa.

I am working and We want to show joint income for sponsoring my in-laws.

    1. If we show joint income, do i have to be joint sponsor also?
    2. Do we have to submit the documents like Sponsor letter, invite letter, etc from both of us?
    3. Do I have to send my W2s, pay stubs, letter from bank etc?
    4. Do I have to fill in separate I-134 also?

Please let me know what all documents need to be submitted for showing joint income.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,
    Rekha

        dipak,

It's OK if you don't mention anything about rejection in the letter you write.

But anyway, you have to mention about it in DS-156 form.

          Rekha,

Even if you show joint income, you don't have to send all separate documents from your side. Just the proof of your income (paystubs etc.)
