  • Re-entering US after months in Canada / B1/B2

    Any idea if I can re-enter the US on a b1/b2 visa, after 2 - 3 months
in Canada? I read on this site that you have to leave the entire North
American continent, but does it still apply if you have been out of
the US for a few months, just still on the North American continent?

If it matters, here's my recent travel history, consecutively:

    4 months in US - b2 visa
2 months out of US on another continent
    1 month in US - b1 visa
    2 - 3 months in Canada

Please mention if you or someone you know have done this before and the circumstances surrounding it.

Thank you very much in advance.

Did you return your I-94 or I-94w when you left the US?
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

You can try to enter if you have valid business documentation showing meetings, conferences etc. But your duration of stay may be limited, you may also be subjected to additional questioning.

          thank you.

So you don't think I can get in on a leisure visit? (so using the b2 visa instead of b1)
