Hello,
Let me explain the problem:
My brother who lives in US has sponsored my parents' B2 Visa. They also visited US once last year. Due to some internal family issues, he doesn't want them to be here. This time when my Dad visited , at the port of entry, they asked him few questions ...Also to verify , they called the sponsoror ( my brother) , but in turn my brother gave them irresponsible answers that he is not aware of his dad coming here / he isnt taking care of my Dad /trying to he doesn't know by which airlines my Dad flew etc ( He knew the answers but was not defending due to and some internal family mis-understandings).
The CBP officers were considerate enough to grant a I-94 for 3 months. On the other hand, they would have also made a note that the sponsoror is not taking care.
Is there a way that the sponsoror can be changed? Does my Dad have to go to the US Embassy in India for a stamp? or just extra documentation is needed? I am ready to sponsor him.
I don't want my Dad to have any problems in the Port of Entry in future due to my brother.
Please provide me ur suggestions.
Thanks
