How to file extension for the visitor's (B2) visa?

Hi,

My parents are here with me on the B2 visa. They hold 10 year multiple entry visa. Upon entry, they were granted stay till Aug 2, 2011. However, I would like to get their stay extended for another 6 months. Can someone please guide me as to how to file the extension in this regard?

They need to file I-539 to extend their status. Search for form and instructions.
Extensions are not given without really genuine reasons.
If extension is denied after I-94 expires, their illegal stay is counted from the I-94 date and visa is automatically void.
Even if extension is approved, they will need to live outside for a longer period of time before they can return.
