Hi,
I am collecting all the documents for applying for a visitor visa (B2) for my parents. I just found that their last name is misspelled in the passport. It should be Avlani but its written Avalani (extra a). Will it cause any issues in getting a visa. Do i need to write the correct last name in DS 160 or the last name in the passport?.
Will an affidavit stating the correct name work at the consulate at the time of the interview?
