Copy of US citizenship document ???

Hi all,

My uncle, he is US citizen and sponsoring Visa to my parents. He has to send the proof of citizen ship document(Naturalization certificate).

Original Certificate of Citizenship have the following warning: "IT IS PUNISHABLE BY U.S. LAW TO COPY, PRINT OR PHOTOGRAPH THIS CERTIFICATE, WITHOUT LAWFUL AUTHORITY".

So we are not sure, whether if he sends this will be a problem or pass port of him is enough to show as US citizen.

You can't copy it for illegal purpose.

This is a legitimate reason to make a copy.
