  • Visa Rejected

I have been rejected for a visitor visa 2 1/2 wks ago....I have another interview on Monday and have with me a letter from my employer, stating that I am employed and that they are looking forward to my return. I also have a letter from my father stating that my family ties in Aust are strong. Does this sound adequate??

Also, does the consulate keep a record of all the questions that they ask whilst in the interview, if it is not on the form? Please advise Immi, as I really want this visa and am very nervous about Monday.

    Thanks.

They do keep record of interview question/answers.

It is difficult to say whether particular set of documents/proofs would be adequate or not.

      One more Q

Generally if they see documents about strong work ties and family ties, and you have no ties to the US, is it safe to say the chances are high that you will be granted the visa?

I was previously rejected because I had confusion and was unable to show my ties to Australia. I think I have enough to show evidence I want to come back. Is there anything else you recommend I bring, or is what I have adequate?

If you have everything required in place and confident, I would say that you should generally get visa.

But of course, it all depends upon the interview and upon the officer.

          hello,

Im going to have interview in the US Consulate in China on April 13 for visitor's visa. I have been teaching in China for nearly 2 years and I've got Residence Permit. My contract will end this August but it is renewable every year. Im planning to visit my sister (married with the US citizen thru fiancee visa) in the US this coming June. What is the probability that I would be granted a tourist visa?

pls.to those who have experience...share with me your stories. I really want to tour in the USA before the coming of the new term.

          thanks

It is really difficult to come up with any probability numbers like that.
