Visitor Visa call on 3 months stay

Hi - I came to US in Jan 2011. Want to call my parents to visit US. When I was checking the check list of sponsor’s documents, I found that there were 6 months bank statements required and tax return for that last year.

Also, I came US last year for a month and paid the tax but at that time did not open the bank account. For last paid tax I just filed the return. Kindly suggest that I this scenario am I eligible for to invite the parents for visitor visa or not. If yes then how can I mange the docs.

There is no strict requirement of 6 months statements. That is a suggestion.

If you can show that you are already financially capable of sponsoring them now, you can do it.
