Need Urgent Advice Tatkaal Passport

Request to PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY, as the visa appointment is in Delhi counselate on friday .....

My mother in law is going for her visa appointment in this month. My wife is pregnant & developed "Gestational Diabetes",which has complicated her pregnancy. We are expecting our first baby in last week of april. My mother-in-law got her "Tatkaal Passport" by showing "Daughter's Pregnancy" as a reason .

She has one unmarried daughter & son and my father -in-law, who is not accompanying her, is a retired professional.

My query is , should we show "Pregnancy" as a reason for her visit? i do not want to show pregnancy as the reason even though i have letters from doctors as it is generally advised against this reason.

If i say it is for tourist purposes, can the consulate know the reason of issuance of tatkaal passport?

Does the passport say anywhere it is 'tatkaal passport'? If not, don't worry about it.

Toursit visa is just for 'tourism' and not for helping with 'pregnancy'. Therefore, state your reasons accordingly.

'Gestational Diabetes' is not a big deal.

well i woudl say it do not mention to even consulate that your wife is peragnet..Let me try to explain you what exactly they have!and why visa gets denied is such cases!
as here is what datum they operate uppon..
If some mother is going to US for her daughter illness or childcare, they say that its just a sort of thing which does not allow the correct person(means some American trained in this field) to do that job and they would think that by your mom having do this job taking care of yoru wife's pragnancy this prevents them from employment means that the person who is exactly suppose to do this job!!!prevents him or her from employment..
I hope you got what i said!
SO the best is never to mention that your wife is pregnent..
In case if the visa officer asks your mom she can say she does not know!!!!
