savings a/c bank statement

Hi

Anyone please help : Is it necessary to send savings account statement of the sponsor ? Because I have only checking accounts, & when I asked my bank she told me that checking a/c also is considered as a savings deposit, so it is not a problem. Is that correct?

Checking or Savings doesn't matter.
