do not have birth certificate for visitor visa

Hi,

My husband is sponsering my parents visitor visa for US. Me and my husband both don't have birth certicate but we both have affadavit of birth certificate. Can we use Affadavit instead of birth certificate.

Please help me.. will they reject the visa because we don't have birth certificate or affadavit will work.

Any other proof of relationship such as Parent names on passport, school certificate or any other Government certificate should work. They only need to provide it if asked for.
