Help with hotels in Chennai nearby Consulate

Hi,
Can someone please give me information about hotels nearby the consulate which have a reasonable rent. And also any other directions are most welcome. My parents are going for interview at the Chennai consulate on March 11th. They are not familiar with the place. Any help would be highly appreciated.

There's another neat hotel called Hotel Sangeta.(No spelling mistakes there) It costs 600 bucks a night. You can book it over the phone. I'll have to look up the number. Takes 5-10 minutes to get to the consulate by rickshaw.
My mom stayed there recently. Its very clean and convenient.
