Hi,
My husband is on L1 and I'm on L2. My parents are planning to sponsor their trip to USA (they will be paying for their air tickets and personal expenses, but will be staying with us during their trip). They are planning to quote the purpose as tourism and visiting daughter & son-in-law. My father is retired and my mother is a homemaker. My father has sufficient holdings in India and an un-married daughter.
1. Does quoting self as sponsor for the trip have any disadvantages over showing my husband as the sponsor?
2. What documents in addition to the documents listed in the "Documents -Visitor" section in immihelp.com need to be submitted during the interview? (All documents under "Documents - sponsor" or specific ones like invitation letter, copies of passport(s), etc?)
3. Are sufficient holdings of property and financial assets in India sufficient to prove a self-sponsored trip?
Help is greatly appreciated!
