Language Translator

Hi,

When taking an appointment for my parents at Chennai, the available dates where in May when I selected telugu as the language and in June for English. Although both my parents can speak English I opted for telugu so that they could go for visa earlier. Would this be a problem at the Interview if they did not want a translator. Will they know that we wanted a translator at the time of booking the appointment and did not now.Please advice.

Hi,
If the Officer asks you both are working why did you opt for a translator if you can speak in English. Is it okay to say we thought we might not be able to understand the slang.

I have the same problem but the other way.

SO, I opted for ENGLISH Apptmt so that they could go for visa earlier. Although both my parents can understand English, but they cannot talk properly. Now after trying for many times I got an Apptmt date in MAY. IS there any way I can ask telugu translator for them. Please advice.
