Hello! I have been given a J1 for medicine residency in Detroit. I intend to go visit my brother in Houston for a week before I start my program. Will I be quizzed about why I chose Houston as a POE despite my training program being at Detroit? Can I tell them that I will be visiting my brother for a week and is it sufficient if I show them my Houston---Detroit flight ticket scheduled in a week's time??
