Visitor Visa (221g)

Hello All,

Please help !

My dad went to Hyderabad consulate for visitor visa. My mom got the visa. However, they asked my dad more questions related to his education and work. And, they have requested for his resume and answer to a few questions in email. The problem is my dad is only tenth graduate. He doesn't have higher education. How can I answer the following questions? I tried to fill it:

Education:I studied till tenth grade. I have attached the certificate of my high school.

University name: The school that I studied in was Jenapur High. The certificate I have attached has detail of my school.

Course/subject of study: Not Applicable


Years attended: I studied till the year 1968.

Current/recent research: I was never involved in any research work during my school tenure or work tenure.


Planned research: I have no plan to do any research.__

Please help me.

My dad recently received a similar 221g form. How long did it take for your parent to receive the visa once the resume was provided ? what kind of details did you add in the resume ? Any help is really appreciated !!
