Is Medical insurance must for Visitor visa?

Hello,

My mother is travelling from India in Visitor visa on the next week. Does she need to show the proof of medical insurance at Port of Entry? Is it a must?

I am not clear on what to buy yet and I am not interested on it.
Please advice me.
