Spouse Name Incorrect

Spouse name in my father-in-law's passport is misspelled and does not match with the name in my mother-in-law's passport.

Will there be a problem in the Visa approval.

Also do I need to fill the spouse details in my father-in-law's application as per his passport or as per my mother-in-law's passport.

Could someone please tell

Did you do anything to correct the misspelt spouse name in your father-in-law's passport. We have a similar issue.
Will that be an issue in the Visa approval?

Also we need to fill in the spouse detail from the individual's passport only right?
