I-94 expiration

1) I am on L1 visa my visa is expiring on oct -14th 2011, can i apply for visitor visa to my parents, how many months valid visa should i have to apply visitor visa to my parents to USA, if i can apply to them how many years will they get the permission for visitor visa, and how many days i can stay in USA after my I-94 and visa expiration if my petition is pending.
