Are supporting documents needed for DS-157

My parents are appearing for their visa at Delhi. Since for Delhi it's required to submit DS-157 for all applicants irrespective of age or gender, they have already prepared their DS-157 forms.

I've following doubts:

1. Are the facts mentioned in the DS-157 required to be supported with original documents. E.g. Employment history, educational institutions attended (by showing degrees, etc.)
2. If yes to 1 above, then are copies needed to be submitted for such supporting documents as well?

1. It is better to carry supporting documents.
2. Copies not needed. Just carry the originals in case they want to see. They will not keep any documents with them.
