B2 visa extension

Hi,

I want to extend visitors visa for my parents.Their I-94 expires on july,2011. What is the procedure to extend their stay in USA and is there any problems for their green card in future if we extend their stay? I heard from other forums that if we extend the stay then their multiple entry 10 years visa is going to get expire. can you please help me with the problems that we may encounter in this process.

10 years visa does not expire just because you extend. It expires if you apply for extension, gets denied and you are still in the U.S. at the time of rejection.

If we extend the visa is there any problem for my parents for the green card in future? I heard from some of the blogs that if we extend the visa there will be chances of not getting the green card for the parents since they crossed the rules of staying in USA by extending their stay in USA.Is that true? I'm new to this type of issues. please help me out.
