Hello everyone, I would like to place my situation here and would like to get advice from all of you as to how we should place our situation to the Interviewers and what information should be encouraged to share and what needs to be supressed?
I became a naturalized US citizen early this year.
I unfortunately lost my father recently and hence would like to bring over my widowed mother to visit me during this time of duress for around 6 months. She does not have any property in her name here in India.
I am sponsoring her travel and stay there in USA.
Please suggest how she should approach the interview. Should we go ahead and highlight our recent loss and use it as a justification for the visit or should we go with the basic approach of toruism or something else?
Any pointers in this regards is appreciated.
Thanks.
