Passport at US embassy for visa stamping -- 3 weeks already!

Hi-
I submitted 2 passports at us embassy after getting the online visa case status update. I got my passport back after 2 weeks but my husbands passport is still at the embassy in dubai, 3 weeks passed!

Any thoughts?

All you can do is contact them to find out the status.

I went to dubai for H1B visa stamping interview in march 2011 and got a yellow slip stating Administrative Processing. Early may, my visa case status updated and I dropped of my passport and received it back in four days saying my case continues to undergo futher additional processing. No update eversince. I am in India at the moment and waiting for status update. What kind of visa did you appear for. How long did it take you for the Administrative processing to be completed. I would appreciate it if you could please share your experience in detail. I am very frustrated and tensed about the whole situation. My employer wants me back ASAP and here I am stuck in india.
