Gold,and dimonds as assets

I want to know that how can i show my gold, dimonds as an asset..??
What is the exact procedure??
do i have to get a letter from bank or what do i have to do please let me know?????

You have to get an estimate letter from Chartered Accountant.

But show them only if you have bought them using white money (paid income tax on your income.)

i see but they are all gifted to me by my father.......
is there another way i show it as my asset.. ??
