My parents visitor visa was approved today at the Hyd consulate. On their first visit in Dec 2006, their visa was rejected. This is their second try. Their interview happened in Telugu. The VO himself spoke to them in telugu.

Our visa application was rejected in 2006. In the meantime we were busy with our new home construction and hence did not try again.
Does you son send you any money?
(In 2006, for the same question they answered yes)
No. We have sufficient income here. I get pension too.
How many months are you planning to stay in US?
2 months.
VO: You'll get your visa in mail in a week's time.
