Would appreciate any response in regards to my situation.
My brother in law( Indian citizen) is a senior level executive with Sony in India ( Software development ).
He is visiting UK this month on a 4 month project. I was wondering if I could invite him to come over to the US for 2 weeks on a visitor visa for tourism purpose.
His background.
He has travelled extensively to Singapore over the last 10 years . He has also travelled to Malaysia, China and Germany. He has not travelled to the US though there could be a posiiblity he could come on a business Visa in the future.
My background: I am on a H1Visa . My 6 years expires on March 2006. I have been working with the same company since my arrival in the US.
The application for my GC has been applied in October 2003 and it has not moved anywhere.
My company will apply for the H1 extension probably this October.
Questions:
1) Considering the background of my Bother-In-Law , can he apply for a visitors Visa from the UK to US.
2) Will my Green card process be affected in any way if I sponsor the tourist Visa for my Brother in Law.
3)I was planning to invite my parents to the US on a tourist Visa in July 2006. Will their chances of getting a tourist Visa be affected if I invite my Brother in Law.
