Hi There,
My friend who is currently in Norwich, UK on a work permit wants to visit me in the USA for a week on a B2-visa. I am here on a H1-B visa.
She can provide the following documents -
1. UK Work permit document
2. Employers letter.
3. DS-160
4. Bank Statements
5. Financial ties back home in India
6. Flight tickets
What documents would I need to send as a sponsor from the US?
1. Passport with stamped visa copies
2. Invitation letter
3. SSN and bank statements
How easy is the process? Is it just a question of filling up the DS-160, booking an appointment and turning up with the documents? Any help on a step-wise procedure to procuring the visa would be highly appreciated. Thanks !
