How long does TT Serices take to send PP/Visa

My parents were granted Visitors' visa on 18 Apr. They were told earlier that they will get the PP/Visa within 2 days. So my dad scheduled a minor surgery( + 4 days of hospitalization) for 21 Apr.
They had to make a small correction in their address with TT Service. Does this delay the process? If they don't get it before 21 Apr, can they request to hold it until they get back home? I am concerned that this will create a lot of confusion ... Any experiences, suggestions??

I am not sure why it will create problem.

As long as the person at home can provide the receipt given to you at the time of interview, the courier will give the passports. Your father does not have to be at home.
