Original dob certificate

Hey, I am wondering about the same too. Should we send our original DOB to India so that my mother can take it to her interview?

VFS required document list generated at the time of booking interview mentions birth certificate. But I have not heard of anybody being asked for it at the interview.

Anybody else have experience with this? I am sure lots of people in this forum sponsored their parents. Did any one of you send his/her original birth certificate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
