Mom traveling alone. Cannot speak English

My mom will be traveling alone from India to the US next week. She can only speak and understand Hindi and Bengali.

Will they arrange for a translator at the US port of entry immigration?

Do I need to send her a letter explaining the purpose of her letter which she can hand over to the officer?

Provide her a letter.

If there is anyone else in the line that can speak her language, they can ask him/her to translate. Otherwise, your mom is on her own.
