How to apply for a Visa date for MP residents in New Delhi Consulate

I want to schedule visa appointment (B1/B2) for my parents who live in the state of Madhya pradesh at New Delhi Consulate.

As we are aware from the consulate newsletter that from November 2010 we are allowed to schedule the visa date at any consulate. But in VFS site if I select MP as State of Residence it is always taking to Mumbai dates.

Can anyone suggest what is the correct process to use this option.I even called up VFS in India. But the call center executive was of no help. He said that yes it is allowed to schedule appoitnment anywhere but if it is not showing than he is not aware how to do it!!

Will appreciate any help in this.

My parents are in Jabalpur and I would also like to schedule Visa appointment in Delhi. Mumbai requires to submit documents 3 days in advance in person. I saw your post. Can you please help me understand how did you manage for your parents ? Thanks
