We would like to invite our inlaws (55, 54 yrs) to US. Both of them are working as Govt employees in good position but my mother in laws sister is US citizen and she filed family based petition for them in 2007. I would like to know is it worth to try for a B2 for them? They just want to visit and go back now (when they are healthy) and it will take another 7-8 years or more for them to get immigrant visa. Also they have a son who is studying and staying with them in India. Will these (dependent son in India, both working, tax returns, property they own etc) help them getting a B2 visa? or is it a direct rejection when VO sees they have a immigrant petition pending?
Any success stories ?
