Lost Indian Passport on B2 VISA while in US
Hi All,
I am in Chicago with my family on the vacation on the B2 VISA at my relative's place.
We came from India in July-2011 and were about to return to India in 1st week of Aug-2011.
Unfortunately , we lost our passports during our trip at the airport in USA.
We have a police report from the Airport Police for that as we lost our passport in US while on Airport.
I need to travel to India as soon as possible as i have to get back to work .
Could you please let me know what is the process for re-issue of the passport ?
I went through the forums and Consulate website, but i could not get the concrete Information about the Lost Passport in Case of B2 Visa , when the person is in US
