Visitors Visa for Parents of an Illegal Alien

I am trying to get a visitors visa for my husbands family. I am an American Citizen. My husband, however, has a work permit. He is not on any type of visa. Is there any way that i can apply to have my In laws come for a visit. They are not planning to stay here in the US.

Your in-laws can certainly apply for their Visa and any of you can provide funds for their trip. However, they will have to mention immigration status of their children (son) in their application and illegal status will reduce their chances. If they have strong reasons like property, job etc. to show that they will return to their home country, that will help.

So they were refused the visa. My lin-laws said the interview was going fine until another VO came in and said to the VO that was interviewing them "they are going so that their son can get legal status" Which makes absolutely no sense since i have been legally married to him for 2 years. We are inviting them here for the religious marriage ceremony and also for tourism. My In-laws are between the ages of 67-80, and thier whole family is in India. My husband is the only one in America. Also, they didn't receive a paper saying why they were refused a visa. Is this normal? And do you know if we can apply again?
