  • Visitor Visa for mother

    Hi,

My husband is on L1 and I am on L2. Both of us are working. We are planning to sponsor visa for my mother and in the application, we have specified my husband as sponsor for the trip.

My question is - during visa interview, if they ask my mother - is your daughter working then what should be her answer. Should she say that I am not working since we have mentioned my husband as the sponsor or should she say truthfully that I am working. In this case, they might ask why I (daughter) did not sponsor mother's trip. What should be her answer then?

    Thanks for your help.

    1.
You must tell the truth. If you are working, they must tell you are working.

    2.
They need to provide the real reason why you are not sponsoring.

      thanks for your reply.

Is the reason for daughter not sponsering mother's visa sufficient - daughter's job is temporary and on a contract basis. that's why son-in-law is sponsering mother's visa. Please suggest.
