Visitor visa interview question

Hello,

My husband is on L1 and I am on L2. Both of us are working in USA. I am working as a contractor and my husband is full-time. We are planning to sponsor a visa for my mother. In the application, we have mentioned husband's name as the sponser.

What reason should my mother give, in case they ask my mother the reason for son-in-law as the sponsor during visa interview. Is it sufficient to say that daughter is working as a contractor.

Whatever the real reason is.

There is nothing wrong in sponsoring someone when you are working as a contractor.
