What Visa should we apply for MIL

Hi can anyone suggest what visa should we apply for my Mother in law(widower), am a US citizen and my wife is GC holder

That really depends upon her purpose of coming to the U.S.

However, as your wife is green card holder and not U.S. citizen, she can't sponsor her mother's greencard.

That means, she will have to apply for visitors visa and visit the U.S. for a short duration.
