    Following are the documents that mom carried though the officer did not look even into one also)

    MOM GOT 10 YEARS multiple entry.

    1. WebAppointment receipt
    2. Passport original
    3. DS-156 with two DDs
    4. Photocopy of three pages of passport(first, last and address)
    5. Employment Verification Letter
    6. Leave Sanctionletter
    7. NOC
    8. CA Property Estimate letter.
    9. bank account verification letter.
    10. xerox copies of passbook
    11. xerox copies of share certificates, Lic policies

    Sponsor documents:
    1.Covering letter to the consulate with list of enclosures
    3. Personal letter of invitation - English
    4. Personal letter of invitation - Native language.
    5. Employment Verfication letter - original
    6. Previous company experience letter - copy
    7. Bank deposit verification letter - original
    8. Pay stubs for past three months(totally six semi monthly pay stubs)
    9. Bank statements (savings account only) for past five months
    10.IRS for past three years - copy
    11. W2 for past three years - copy
    12. I-797 notice of action. - H1 copy, H4
    13. Passport copy of my husband (all pages)
    14. Passport copy of mine (all pages), as it is my mother who we are inviting
    15. Family photos for identification
    16. Marriage certificate.

        Apeksha just on the lighter side of this all, I think tht the guy interviewing got scared at the amount of paperwork u sent thru ur mom !! As soon as he wud've taken a look at invitation letters in both english n native language, perhaps he told himself tht smartness was in giving ur mom a visa immediately, so tht he wont' have to c another set of papers added to the already existing set, in ur mom's second visa trail )))

        I've heard tht in somecases the consulate guys c not a single paper, nor ask a single qn and issue a visa....and on the otherside also do the same and reject a visa. Hard to explain wht is gng on !!
