Necessary to show round trip tickets for B2 visa ?

Hi,
Is it necessary or safe to show a round trip ticket/itinerary while attending the Visa interview for B2 category rather than one way ticket ?
Can there be any problems at the US port of entry with one way ticket during arrival?
Please help.

1. At interview at the consulate, you don't have to show any tickets. In fact, you should buy the tickets after you get the visa.
2. You should not enter the U.S. on B2 visa with one way ticket.
