6 months Visa validity

Hi,

My parents are going for Visitor Visa stamping in Oct.

My question is, in case they get only 6 months visa, can they travel next year in April (end of 5th month) and stay in the US for 3-4 months or do they have to travel immediately.

Yes, Visa has to be valid on the day they travel to the US only.
