Hi,
I am graduating this December with PhD. After to which I have an offer in the same University. I want to apply for Visa for my mother and my brother. I am sponsoring the trip. I have following Q's:
1) How much I have to show in my account for each person visiting..(5K enough?)
2) Do they have to still show money in their accounts in India though I am sponsoring?
3) I do not have a birth Certificate. So as an alternative, 10th transfer certificate, ration card and details on my passport etc., can be shown for my mother?
Else does affidavit by mom must be written?
4) To show ties back in India, my dad still has 1.5 yrs of service as a govt. teacher, a property is in plan but no documents are available as of now. Suggestions pls? My brother has his family in India. He works with a private firm.
5) From this forums, I understand I have to send I-134 separately for each but rest all documents can be common? Any suggestions on interview to be combined for both or to schedule individually?
6)Do I have to send all my documentation as originals or scanned copies will do? Can I send any letter from my Advisor(future employer) as I have a position here, just as a supporting info for sponsorship?
Pls do not mind if I have posted any Q similar to which has already been discussed..
Thanks,
AK
