Taking Interviews in Chennai

I have secured an appointment at chennai consulate for my parents with 'English' as the language for interview. While my dad is comfortable with english, my mom is not.

Question: Can both my dad and mom give the interview at the same counter (so that my dad can help my mom during interview)or must they give in two separate counters?

it will be in same counter, there is nothing called SEPERATE COUNTER for them.
