Hello All,
Firstly, I want to thank you all.. esp immihelp, GL, manish for taking the time to answer my questions even if they were sometimes quite dumb ;-)
My dad went for his interview on Apr 26th at Chennai. His appointment was from 8-8:15
His interview was for about 3 mins..
The interviewer was a young american and my dad first itself gave his visiting card (he is a retired professor). No documents were asked for. He did ask about his pension order and when my dad was about to give it to him... he said thats alrite
The questions asked were:
1. Why do u want to go to USA?
2. What does your daughter do?
3. Which field were u teaching?
4. How much is your pension?
and when he told 8 thousand and odd per mth
he was asked is that enough
then my dad told his other income
then he wished my dad Best of Luck.. n told him to go to the next counter to pay the DD :-)
dont know yet for how long though.. waiting for the passport
