hi....here is my case....i m a doctor and during final yr of my medical school i applied for b1/b2 visa on the basis of observership in USA.My application was accepted but my visa got stuck in processing for almost 7 months. My observership was wasted as it was in june 2011.A week ago i received a call from embassy and some one asked me when do i want to travel to US.....i said january because i was planning to take a component of my steps exam then.He asked me where do i want to go.I said to the same place which i mentioned. He said that then reason would be the same. Then he said we will remain in touch with you.
A couple of days ago, i got my passport back.i had got visa of 6 months, but in the annotation portion it is mentioned that CLEARANCE RECEIVED ON ............. date. and then the name of hospital is mentioned where i wanted to do my observership in first place.Obviously i have missed chance of doing observership as it was in june. But now i want to go to US to take exam.My question is
Would there be any problem on airport or anywhere else if i tell them that i am here to take my exam and not to do observership?Does that note mentioning hospital name makes it essential that i can go to US only for observership in that hospital and not for any other purpose? Please help n guide me as i have very short time to make arrangements for my exam
