Hi friends,
My in-laws are private and self-employed postal RD agents(similar to LIC agent). During their recent visitor visa interview, they were asked to produce the No objection letter. My in-laws tried to explain officer that it is not a government job (and they are not employees of post office by any way) and hence they will not be able to produce the No objection certificate. But the officer asked them to get that letter and apply for visa again.
Did anyone pass through similar scenario? Can we obtain No objection certificate from govt authorities? Even if they are ready to give the letter how should we format it since the salary (annual salary) and leave sanction information will not be applicable to private and self-employed agents.
Any quick help will be highly appreciated
Thanks
Praveen
