need urgent help

my parents had their interview today at the mumbai counsalate for their visitors visa.

after asking three questions:
why are you going to the US, who is sponsoring you, which college does your daughter study in...the officer asked them to leave. both the demand drafts were already sent to the counsalate along with the application form while taking the appointmnet for the interview.

After their interview they got nothing back.

immihelp says that you need to get a photocopy stamped back from the counsalate. Would that be from a different window ?? what about the demand drafts??? ..as i read the posts in immihelp it says you give the issuance fees then...but my parents had already given it before.

seems like something is wrong...looks like my parents missed out something. what should they do next ??

please advice.

Many people walk out of the consulate with without getting the stamp, including my parents.

Without that, courier does not give the passports back. Contact VFS regarding this.
