Need Visa Appiontment..does anybody canceling their apt?

Hello eveyone,
I am planning to bring my mother on B2 to US.Due to delay of her passport arrival, we counldn't get visa appontment which we wanted the visa by september.I am expecting and my due date is in October ,first week.So, i really need my mother by sep. ending

So, if anyone canceling or resheduling their already given appointment date( at chennai consulate) between these months ( May to September)...
.... can please inform me?? ASAP

You can not simply grap a cancelled appointment. All cancelled appointments goes to the general pool, and then it's refreshed in the availability part after few minutes. You will have to take your chance. There are many discussions in the past in this forum on tips about searching for early appointment. Plus once again you can check appointment availability without first taking an appointment.

Why not try Delhi or Kolkota

If you mother can speak English fluently, I think you have a case to apply outside of Chennai consular district, in Delhi or Kolkota as you will be able to demonstrate a need to travel before the appointment dates become available. Need to have immediate family with you during life changing event is certainly enough demonstration of the need to apply elsewhere I presume.
