transit visa

I am an Indian passport holder and currently in buenas aires, to visit my brother. I am flyign to india soon and I have a stay of more than 24 hours on london, heathrow airport. I want to know whether I require a transit visa for Heathrow aiprot. Also that I am not changing my carrier at any stage, so basically from Bueans aires to london and from london to Delhi my carrier is British Airways.
I will apprecaite if somone has any information about this,
